The Bible says, "be kind to all you meet, because you never know when you will meet an angel." Let me share my experiences with you:
April(my daughter) and I encountered an angel one day, one sunny day in June.. April was home for summer break and she and I were headed out the door to go shopping. As we stepped out the door, we came face to face with a little old lady. She walked over to us and took our hands and said, "I have waited sooooooooooooooooo long to meet you both...I have been watching you for a very long time and you both do such good works." My first thought was a homeless person, but she was very tidy, her beautiful grey/black hair was pulled back at the np of her neck and she just glowed..not in a supernatural sense, she just radiated from within. She looked at April and said, "You have made a mistake, but it is ok, just confess it..you have made many and will make many more, but it is ok, just confess it and go on". I glanced up at April and tears were streaming down her face. Then she looked at me and and took my hand and said, "Pam Everything is going to be ok!"(at the time, my life was in turmoil). I looked at her in bewilderment and said, "What is your name?" She replied, "It doesnt mater..YOU KNOW WHO I AM!" and the she was gone. I had never seen her before, and haven't since. Since I didn't know her actual name, I call her Milly and I believe she has been with me for a long long time and will be from now on. It was such a blessing to meet her and actually see her.
Later in the day I was thinking, "That wasn't an angel Pam, get a grip", and as soon as I had that thought, I heard, "Oh ye of little faith with a chuckle...what does it take for you to belive?" It wasn't avoice like you and I speaking, but one I could hear in my head.
Have faith people..God loves you!
Update: April and I were recently discussing this event and I learned something esle. Although April and I both saw her, she was clothed differently and we each saw her in a totally different way. That was strange and I dont know the significance for this, but there must have been. Just goes to show, that angels come in many forms..always be alert..You never know when you will encounter an angel.

MILLY |

On October 9, 1998, I had to have brain surgery. While I was in pre-op, there was a "nurse". While everyone else was busy, scurrying around, preparing me for surgery, all she did was hold my hand and talk to me about God and told me not to be afraid. She didn't address or speak to any of the other people in the room, only me. It was as if, no one else could see her, but me. She brought me great comfort during this time peiod. Right before I was rolled me into the operating room, she laid her body over mine (literally) and said a prayer. I never saw her before, or again. I believe that she too, was an angel sent to me during a great time of fear. She did tell me her name name was mary.
